India [ Images ] on Monday, advocated a new global, verifiable nuclear
disarmament framework which includes "no-first-use" of atomic weapons
and "non-use" against non-nuclear weapon states. Speaking at the
International Institute of Strategic Studies in London [ Images ],
Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao [ Images ] pledged India's long-
standing commitment to global, non-discriminatory and verifiable

Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir will be accompanied by a five-
member delegation when he arrives in New Delhi [ Images ] for talks
with his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao [ Images ] on February 25.
The delegation will arrive a day prior to the talks and will leave on
February 26, a Pakistan High Commission source told PTI…

ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari has called on
scouts to help tackle the situation arising out of extremism and
intolerance and work for the creation of harmony and peace in society.
In his message on Scouts Day, President Zardari who is Chief Scout of
Pakistan said scouting is an international movement which nourishes
spiritual, mental, physical and social capabilities of the youth
through informal education and instills in them characteristics of
