They did everything to destroy East Bengal Dalit Refugees

Pl camps exposes the claims of Bengali leaders who did everything to destroy us Palash Biswas West Bengal then Chief minister Dr.Bidhanchandra Roy and other west Begal leaders in West Bengal denied refugee status for the partition victims of East Pakistan Bengali refugees and claimed ther had been no riots in East Bengal and said, these people were actually victims of 1942 Bengal famine who survived and got opportunity for escape to India due to population transfer. It was a false claim. Every family from East Bengal suffered badly in riots. We have documented th first person version of the history recently in two books Chhinnamool based on interviews of the victims and Pulinbabu:Visthapn ka Yatharth,Punrvas ki ladayi which have exposed the Bengali leaders who did everything to destroy the dalit population of East Bengal and rejected them out of Bengali history, geography, environment and culture depriving them of mother tongue, reservation and civic as well as human rights, even citizenship. Anywhere in twenty three states including West Bengal you may visit any Bengali refugee colony and survey how many families lost everything due to riots. Not only Noakhali victims, Bengali refugees coming from anywhere were subjected to ethnic cleansing as they are even after creation of secular Bangladesh. Every family lost most of family members and relations during riots, crossing the border and in refugee camps all over India in malnutrition and pandemic. The conspiracy to wipe out Bengali Dalits is best expressed in the denial of riots and based on that rejection of refugee status as well as citizenship. The narrative is exposed with the truth of PL camps as permanent liability of those irfan women and children who were kept there.PL camps" refers to Permanent Liability camps for Bengali refugees from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), established after the 1947 partition. These camps, once numerous, are now mainly located in states like West Bengal and Odisha, with the Ashoknagar PL Camp in West Bengal being a well-known example. While some camps have been closed or people have been resettled, a few still house older residents, like the one in Ashoknagar, which continues to provide housing for approximately 400 people. Key aspects of PL camps: Purpose: The Dandakaranya Project and similar schemes were established to rehabilitate refugees from East Pakistan who had lost their homes and were living in temporary camps. Permanent Liability: The term "Permanent Liability" was used by officials for these refugees who were unable to resettle and remained dependent on government support. Legacy: Some of these camps, like the Ashoknagar PL camp, continue to house a small population of elderly refugees who have lived there for decades. Notable examples: Ashoknagar Permanent Liability Camp: Located in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, this camp houses a small, aging population of refugees from the Partition era. Dandakaranya Project: This was a major government initiative to resettle refugees in the Dandakaranya region of Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Geographic Distribution: While initially established to disperse refugees from East Pakistan, these camps were set up in states like West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and other north-eastern states.
