Schools Water Portal partnered with Oracle Education Foundation in a water quality testing programme that involved 1,339 schools across India. The aim of the programme was to spread awareness on fluoride contamination in groundwater. This endeavour helped increase water literacy of more than 20,000 students by making them active participants in the nation-wide discussion on deteriorating groundwater quality, especially fluoride contamination.
