Appointment of J&K High Court Judges
New Delhi: March 2, 2010.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 95 of the Constitution
of Jammu and Kashmir, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Shri
Justice Sunil Hali, and (2) Shri Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar,
Additional Judges of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, to be Judges of
the Jammu & Kashmir High Court, with effect from the dates they assume
charge of their respective offices.

Delhi High Court Judge appointed
New Delhi: March 2, 2010.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of
the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri
Justice Vijay Kumar Shali, Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court,
to be a Judge of the Delhi High Court, with effect from the date he
assumes charge of his office.

Performance of production units during April 2009 – January 2010
New Delhi: March 2, 2010.

Chittranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) produced 172 electric locomotives
against the target of 178 electronic locomotives and Diesel Locomotive
Works (DLW) produced 221 diesel locomotives against the target of 211
diesel locomotives during April 2009-January 2010.   Rail Coach
Factory (RCF) produced 1290 coaches against the target of 1290 coaches
where as Integral Coach Factory (ICF) produced 1142 coaches against
the targets of 1127 coaches during the same period. Rail Wheel Factory
(RWF) produced 158905 wheels and 63785 axles against the target of
156393 wheels and 60081 axles respectively during April 2009- January
2010.

During the month of January 2010, CLW, DLW, ICF, RCF and RWF have
produced 28 electric locomotives, 21 diesel locomotive, 129 coaches,
135 coaches, 13780 wheels and 3768 axles respectively against the
target of 24 electric locomotives, 21 diesel locomotive, 129 coaches,
135 coaches, 13619 wheels and 4710 axels.

Railways have realized an amount of Rs. 28.68 crore approximately
during the month of January 2010 through ticket checking.
