Clashes between Queen Rajendra Lakshmi and Bahadur Shah for Gorkha Kingdom

Ran Bahadur Shah was two and half year old when he was coroneted. His mother Rajya Lakshmi was the Care Taker ( Nayab) of Gorkha Kingdom. On the time of death of Singh Pratap Shah died his rebellion brother Bahadur Shah was spending exile life in Betiya. When Bahadur Shah heard the news of death of Singh Pratap, he returned to Kathmandu. He replaced Rajya Lakshmi from Nayabship. Bahadur Shah declared himself as Nayab (Care Taker). Rajya Lakshmi captured Bahadur Shah and put him jail. As per suggestion of Rajguru Gajraj Mishra, Bahadur Shah was freed from jail Again, Bahadur Shah put Rajylakshmi in jail and became Nayab. The supporters of Rajya Lakshmi freed Rajya Lakshmi. Rajya Lakshmi exiled Bahadur Shah. Bahadur Shah went to Patna via Betia. This tusle for crown or Care Taker was continued for three years after Ran Bahadur took the regime.
