Unquote:1. Will the learned [?] lawyers tell us under which section of CrPC, consensual sex between two adults becomes a crime?2. Neither Nityananda nor Ranjita created this obscenity.3. If one adult has to be put behind bars for sexual activity with another adult without any coersion, there will be no lawyers left in Madras HC to defend the clients.4. If sex is a taboo for Tamil culture, most of the Tamil literature must be banned. And all temples in TN must be closed down.5. Just imagine your plight in the present legal system with such medieval mullahs practicing as lawyers.Sankara NarayananQUOTE:
Lawyers want swami behind bars
04 Mar 2010
CHENNAI: Even as telecast of the footage showing godman Nithyananda's sexcapade with a film actress continued, a group of advocates from Madras High Court on Thursday lodged a complaint with the city police commissioner seeking criminal action against him on grounds of obscenity.
"Godman Nithyananda's conduct brought disgrace to Tamil culture," advocate R Siva Sankar told reporters after submitting their complaint.
