I am reproducing below the introduction I have recently written for this book.
BIN LADIN SUCCEEDED IN DAMAGING US ECONOMY

Osama Bin Laden has died but has left his legacy in the form of weakening American economy and fueling anti-Americanism especially in the Muslim world and in the Latin American countries. He had been gloating that 9/11 events have done big economic damage to the US economy. The good old days of America have gone forever. During the next 50 years US Supremacy will become a matter of the past history. Gradually China is climbing up the hill to attain that position and the US downfall has already begun since the events of 9/11. After pushing No. 2 Japan into 3rd position, it is now looking forward to surpass USA during the next few decades. It is controlling more natural resources in Asian, African and Arabian countries put together than USA. Its huge foreign exchange surplus of over 2 trillion dollars has given it a free hand to buy all available natural resources anywhere in the world. . A debt-ridden USA cannot compete with it.
In developing this huge debt Osama Bin Laden has contributed a lot by diverting US resources in trillions for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and billions of dollars spent to hunt him. During the last 10 years, the US had to spend trillions of dollars in an effort to win twin wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Both of them have proved 2 new Vietnams for the US. THIS IS THE LEGACY BIN LADIN HAS LEFT FOR THE USA. These are the fruits of the US support of 1st 50 years for Israel against the human rights of Palestinians and the reward for its killing of thousands of innocent civilian men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A CNNMONEY report says, "In the decade between Sept. 11, 2001 and the death of Osama bin Laden on Sunday (May 1, 2011), the US government has spent hundreds of billions of dollars with the aim of making Americans safer.
".....Over the decade, the department (Homeland Security) alone has spent more than $424 billion. Today it employs 216,000 people.
gc.A total of $71.6 billion will be spent on homeland security in 2012, according to Obama administration projections.
gFor comparison, that is more spending than the 2009 gross domestic product of 132 countries, including Iraq, Croatia, and Cuba.
gc..Since 2001, defense spending has just about doubled, rising to almost $700 billion in 2010cc..
gc.While lawmakers pumped trillions of dollars into war funding and domestic security, they made no efforts to offset costs by raising taxes or cutting spending in other areas.
gc..Today, the debt stands at more than $14 trillion, a number that is setting off alarm bells in Washington."
This book is a collection of articles since 2003. After-effects of 9/11 have generated serious downfall of US economy. The effects of 9/11 factor have been elaborated in the 1st article, which was widely published by the leading Newspapers like the daily DAWN of Karachi and others. This article was also well-discussed in 2003 in the Asia Times and other Net newspapers.
It appears that the wrath of God has fallen on US in the form of deteriorating US Economy and Increasing Anti-Americanism, especially in the Muslim world after US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan on flimsy grounds. It is now going to depart empty-handed from both Iraq and Afghanistan without claiming VICTORY, rather manifesting its DEFEAT and SHAME of such meaningless adventures abroad instead of improving its own ABOUT 10% UNEMPLOYMENT AND INREASING HUGE DEBT OF 14 TRILLION DOLLARS
CONTENTS
(All the following articles were published during 2002 to 2005, showing gradual weakening of the American economy after 9/11 in various respects)

REACTIONS OF THE MUSLIM IN USA ON THE DEATH OF BIN LADEN

It would be appropriate here to reproduce some of the mails I have received from my respected Muslim brothers in USA to let the readers know the reaction of Muslims on the death of Osama bin Laden. I  will include these reactions in my book as well, Insha-Allah.

Shukrun wa Jazakallah. May Allah bless you immensely and give Barakah in your efforts in exposing the Batil  and in your Rizq manifold. Allah helps those who struggle for His Deen and making all possible efforts to defeat the evil designs of Shaitanic forces around the world in their own nests. This is His commitment.

Perhaps you missed my another comment on the innocent killing of the valiant Freedom Fighter whom I now call "Shaheed-e-Abbottabad".  Perhaps you have missed it. I am appending it below and Kaukab Bhai has published it in the latest edition of New Trend. May Allah bless him for his untiring fight against the oppression. I wish our Muslim leadership could understand the pleasure that Allah has kept hidden in these skirmishes for the ones who struggle in the  way of Allah. [Ref: Verse # 17 of Surah# 32]

"Mohtram Kaukab Bhai,   ASA

It is 2:10 Am. I was sleeping and then got up to the realization that OBL is not killed. He is alive. He is Shaheed and Shaheed do not die. America has made him AMAR. He got his best desire fulfilled by Allah (SWT). He is the most successful man of this earth. He got the real Shahada, fighting in the way of Allah only for the pleasure of the Lord of this cosmos.

You can give the caption of "SHAHEED-E- Abbottabad"  to the forthcoming issue of NT. It would be the best tribute to his memories and to your tireless fighting against Zalimeen of this world.

He was innocent. Mullah Omar, the Amir of the  Islamic  State of Afghanistan repeatedly asked the USA to send his crime list and  he will put OBL to trial and punish him, if found guilty but America always refused to do so. It could not establish any charge against.OBL but killed him blindly just out of arrogance, pride and obstinacy of tyrants for their false prestige.

May Allah bless you and give Barakah in your efforts and Rizq.

Each of us must go through them minutely to continue our honest struggle to defeat the secular hegemonies against Islam  and Muslim Ummah  around the world. Kindly send me by AIR a copy of each book and paper that you have written to my address and send me its cost that I will settle with my dollar check, Insha Allah forthwith. This is important.

Mohtaram Shamim Bhai,

Thank you very much for your immense appreciation and intensive Prayers for my well--being. To tell the truth, your encouragement gives me sustenance to go ahead more enthusiastically with what you have been encouraging in my writings.

Thank you for your other comments as Shaheed-e-Abbotabad. I will include these remarks also along with the previous ones from you and from brother Waheeduddin Ahmad in my book. In the meantime, if any more such comments come forth from other brothers, I will try to include those too in my book.

I have checked all the links in my previous mail are working perfectly alright. If you click those links, you will reach Amazon.com website where all my books are displayed. Even in this mail you may click the link below my name. It will take you to Amazon.com website where all my 18 books in English and Urdu are listed. At present, I am editing and updating those 18 books as a priority.  Urdu books are taking a lot of time to bring them to Amazon standards for publishing. I hope a total of all my previous books may be around 25 within the next 2, 3 weeks, Insha-Allah.  Big or small, I have collected articles in each  book according to its main theme and hope to update them later gradually. At present, all my articles written over the last 8 or 10 years are buried and scattered here and there.  My first priority is to self--publish them in book form according to their main topic.

I have no printed copy of any book to send you by air. These are all electronic editions and self-published myself according to technical requirements of Amazon.com for their Kindle editions. Even if I want any Kindle edition, I will have to buy it in book format from Amazon. They are all very low-priced.  Amazon.com has added 2 dollars on each book to pay taxes. Even after this addition, all of them are between 5 to 12 dollars each. Anyone can buy all of them within 100 dollars. Better to encourage our brothers to spend about 100 dollars for this purpose, if they want to know something about the topics I have discussed in these books.

Wassalam and thanks once again for your encouragement and appreciation.

Mohtram Kaukab  Bhai,  ASA

You have done a very excellent job by publishing almost all the views about this tragic event. Unfortunately the world is blind to analyze the event in its correct perspective. All the views and comments are one-sided and far from the truth.

Zulm [oppression] is committed by people or nations that are powerful, arrogant and want to thrust their will and on the weak and the deprived people or nations. The big tyrants enter in their homes, capture their means of livelihood, plunder their raw material sources for their benefit to raise the standard of living and world domination and then when the poor and the  oppressed react as a mark of protest against their loot and hegemonies the "biggies" call them "terrorists" and they  forget  their own act of "state terrorism", hooliganism, fraudulent practices of cheating of the oppressed people. The big powers of the  West occupy their lands and use coercive means to force them to tow down their hegemonies.

Through their treacherous behavior, they first occupied the Muslim lands, got installed in power the corrupt people almost everywhere, then support them to stay in power for decades together. Now if any individual like Laden or any party like JI or MB or Hizb exposes their game and ask them  "to get out" of these lands, they call them terrorist, condemn their activities as "Fundamentalists" and put there "case" before the world as " the most dangerous people , forgetting that they themselves were the FIRST and are the danger # ! for the world peace and justice. This game of travesty of truth is continuing since eighteen/nineteenth century unabated. The arrogance of Europe and America have filled the  earth with  all kinds of injustices, corruption, and exploitations at every stage of human life.

They kill the innocent people by blaming them to be the terrorist and destroy their  countries and its socio-economic and political structure in consequence  through corruptions, heavy bombardment, mass killing and intimidations, [as the cases of Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan are  before us]  while claiming  themselves as the  champion of democracy, human rights and transparency This is the ugliest face of human history and the world is blind to see it through as the people of  the so-called developed countries are  the  integral  part of  this on-going game.

The entire Muslim world is bleeding fast due to their hegemonies and they are maneuvering its affairs for their interest and are determined to complete their game of global domination by hook or by crook.

The tragedy, the open-day murder of Laden, is the case of high piracy of human rights which they have committed without proving that he was involved in the great tragedy of September 11, 2001. I demanded form President Bush on the very  first day of this tragedy that it must be ascertained through an impartial Judicial process: WHO IS TO BE BLAMED? That article is still there on my Website but who cares?

World is blind to take the notice of injustices being committed by the Superpower and killing of "innocent" people blindly to quench its thirst of revenge by shedding Muslim blood while declaring hippocratically that they are not against Muslims and Islam. This killing of the Innocent people of Pakistan can only be termed  as an act of "EXTRA JUDICIAL KILLING" by the people who champion the cause of democracy  and that  of human rights. History is not going to forgive them and will give its harshest verdict.

In Bidding Farewell to Osama bin Laden:
Waheeduddin Ahmed
In the Op Ed page in the New York Times of May 4, 2011, Robert Klitzman, a psychiatrist, who lost his sister on 9/11, writes:
gWhen the members of Al-Qaeda attacked on 9/11, Americans wondered, eWhy do they hate us so much?h Many here believe they dislike us for our gfreedom,h but I think otherwise.
There are lessons we have not learned. I feel Karen (his deceased sister) would share my concerns that underlying forces of greed and hate persevere. American imperialism, corporate avarice, abuses of our power abroad and our historical support of corrupt dictators like Hosni Mubarak have created an abhorrence of us that, unfortunately, persists. We need to recognize how the rest of the world sees us, and figure out how to change that. Until we do that, more Osama bin Ladens will arise, and more innocent people like my sister will die.h
The question: gWhy do they hate us?h was being asked on 9/11 and immediately thereafter but it is no longer being asked. Those powerful people, whose interests lied in keeping the Americans uninformed, moved swiftly and erased the question. They couldnft care less about those who died on 9/11, nor hundreds of thousands who died thereafter as a result of unjust military actions on the part of the American administrations. Their interests, as Robert Klitzman has pointed out outweighed anything and everything, including world peace. In fact, 9/11 was a global event, which unleashed the dark forces of destruction, born of self-interests, unmitigated hatred and avarice.
Osama bin Laden is dead but his death, as has been reported, is only a footnote in the Arab countries. In fact Osama bin Laden had been dead for all practical purposes, ever since he left Tora Bora but the war has continued and is likely to continue until questions have been asked and answered. Innocent people will continue to be killed: American GIs in their twenties and teenagers from Afghanistan and Pakistan. The only thing that will survive will be ignorance and those, who nurture ignorance.
9/11 was a reprehensible act. The Muslims of America condemned it most vehemently, in the street and from the pulpits of masjids. No people has suffered as severely, as a result, as the Muslims of America, whose wellbeing has been in jeopardy ever since. The perpetrators of that act must be brought to justice, as some have been. However, Osama bin Ladenfs assassination, in the manner that it has been carried out, poses some serious questions. His guilt has not been proven and he stands to assume martyrdom and even sainthood in the minds of many people. Statements given immediately after the operation contained deliberate falsehood. It was said that a Muslimfs corpse must be buried according to the Shariah within twenty four hours and was thus slid into the sea! This is not a thoughtful excuse. Since when has Pentagon assumed the authority of Islamic jurists? By hastily disposing of the remnants of the deceased, what was the Pentagon hiding? Time and again the present president of the United States has shown that he has no regard for the international law and has tried to prove that he is more macho that a Texan.
Now for Pakistan: Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are ending. Conditions are being created to start another war, this time in Pakistan. Osama bin Laden hiding under the noses of the Pakistani military elite is incredible for Americans but not for us, who are familiar with the peculiarities of the Pakistani society. Choosing a place to hide, where he hid, indicates the genius of this man. The generals were not likely to search for him in their courtyard. Their search began away from their homes. The ISI is embarrassed but the Pakistanis are amused. A folklore has begun. Besides, the Pakistani law enforcement and crime investigation agencies are seemingly the most incompetent in the world. From 1948 up till now not a single political assassin has been caught.
The White House, the Capitol Hill and the Pentagon must think twice before doing anything to destabilize Pakistan any more than they have already done. It will explode with a vehemence, which will shake the world. It is a country of 180 million people, with 100+ nuclear weapons complete with delivery systems, with a military, which does not like civilian control. The civilian government is controlled by one of the darkest forces in history. Corruption is its pride rather than an impediment. The best we can do for Pakistan is to stop the gaidh, which we are giving. The people of Pakistan do not want this aid to continue, only the corrupt do. Leave Pakistan alone. It will not only survive but prosper and flourish.

It is a very comprehensive and the most appropriate commentary given by my most beloved Brother Mohtram Waheed Bhai. He has given substantial proof what I wrote in the historical perspective - the history of arrogance and highhandedness of the West, especially that of the USA of so many centuries together that resulted only in injustices all around the human society.

May Allah bless him for the clarity of his vision. It must open the eyes of Muslim leadership around  the world that these sources of injustices must be "exposed" more and more and the forces  of  the Truth that Muslims hold must advance majestically to replace the Haq with the prevailing Batil. That is the only cure now left with us to correct the fast deteriorating situation of the human abode.

The West is to be taught: What is justice and how  can it be administered/delivered to the oppressed and dishonestly exploited people of the poor and underdeveloped countries? In sequence, the countries like India should not be given any chance to play in the  troubled waters of the day as it is maneuvering to do impatiently.

Unfortunately, the leadership of the USA does not understand the meanings and the concept of Justice and how to deliver it? Their concept of justice is interwoven with their age-old policy of arrogance, the show of strength and hegemony to dominate over the world. The President of the  country is a symbol of that determinism when he says that justice has been done with Laden. Can anything be more incorrect and false than his fallacious statement that ridicules the very concept of justice, though he was the law student of  Harvard?

Dear brother Hannan,
Wa-Alaikumus Salam,
Thanks for your mail after a long time. If a powerful enemy of Muslims is weakened economically that will benefit the entire Muslim world. American imperialism is a different form of 20th century European imperialism. Without physically occupying any country, it can and is actually dictating its policies, using both carrots and sticks. If it is weakened economically, it cannot pursue its policies. Had America a surplus of 2 trillion dollars like China instead of its debt of 14 trillion dollars; had it an unemployment rate of less than 2 or 3% instead of its 9 to 10% as at present, it would have continued war in Afghanistan and Iraq for another 10 years or more. Weakness of its economy is pressuring it to reduce its all-round Spending in Health care and several other Sectors and especially in its Defense budget. Its Defense budget has increased 10% every year after 9/11 and now it is double of what it was 10 years ago. Is it not in the benefit of Muslims if their innocent people are saved from being killed by American soldiers and its drones in Pakistan and Afghanistan?
American economic aid is such a magical carrot that under its effect several Muslim countries, including Pakistan, have subjected their sovereignty to American whims and caprices. They are no more like any independent country to formulate their own foreign policies. Pakistan Army asked to reduce CIA manpower in Pakistan after Raymond Davis killed two Pakistan nationals. America refused and said No. Pakistan army asked America to stop drone attacks inside Pakistan. America said, No. Pakistan wanted to out CIA chief. America replied No. America made a commando attack in Pakistan and says it is not ready to apologize. Our government has to bow before all its wishes as it is getting billions of dollars of aid from USA. If America is economically weak, it will not be able to subjugate Muslim countries like Pakistan, Egypt and others.
Under the charm of getting several billion dollars yearly from America, Egypt, the largest aid-receiving country in the world after Israel, betrayed Palestinians and did not allow them to cross border to buy their food and other daily necessities.
Similarly, other Middle Eastern Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar are under American protection. They do not need any American money but their kingdoms survive under American umbrella. They were unable to condemn American aggression against a Muslim country like Afghanistan in Muslim Heads of States Conference held soon after American aggression of Afghanistan. If America becomes weak economically, it cannot involve America forces for the protection of such kingdoms.
With the weakness of American economy, it will not be able to afford its billions of dollars of aid to Israel.  All such measures will help Muslims.
An economically strong America will not tolerate any Islamic movement to rule in Pakistan, Egypt or Bangladesh. Like Algeria, even if Islamic movement wins elections, America will bribe military Generals to crush rising power of Islamists.
All the difficulties, hardships and problems the Muslim world is facing, most of them have their origin in American foreign policy. An economically weak America will not be able  to do so.
These are a few examples as to how Muslims and Islam will benefit from an economically weak America.
Bin Laden has contributed a lot for damaging the American economy and thus has opened up the possibilities of better life for Muslims, for Islam and for the Muslim countries.
I DISAGREE BUT APPRECIATE OSAMA IJTEHAD FROM ISLAMIC POINT OF VIEW

It is not in Islamic teachings to kill 3,000 innocents. No Muslim will preach it. No Islamic movement will do it, neither Jamaat-e-Islami, nor Muslim brotherhood, as these Islamic movement want to bring change through peaceful and lawful means, may be through elections, media, demonstrations, protests, strikes and all possible democratic means. But Osama had a different mode of thinking and a different logic behind his actions. Only God can judge as to whether he was right or wrong. There may be two opinions about the justification of his actions. But one thing is clear. Even if he made an Ijtehadi mistake about the means to be adopted in war-like situation, one thing is clear. He did it with a pure heart for the pleasure of Allah, for the benefit of Islam and Muslims. His motives were purely for the uplift of Islam. Allah will reward him for his pure motives.

I am not pleading that Muslims should adopt the means which he adopted.  But many Westerners, anti-Osama scholars, have written books on his life and motivations. He had some Ulama, one from Bangladesh as well, who supported his viewpoint and signed his famous Fatwa of 1998 that every American should be killed. He and his supporters have their own Ijtehadi arguments and facts of Islamic history. For example, Hadhrat Umer (RATU) burned the houses of all the residents of a village. All villagers were not criminals.  Why the innocents were also punished? In that village, a few criminals were producing wine. It was the duty of the innocents to try to stop that production. The innocents did not bother about what the criminals were doing. This keeping quiet on an evil like that of wine production was judged as a crime by Hadhrat Umer (RATU). It was the duty of the innocents to stop that evil. A Hadith gives an example. If some people are making a hole in the ship and if the innocents keep quiet, all will be drowned. A verse in holy Quran says, WATTAQU FITNATAL-LA TUSIBAN-NAL-LAZEENA MNKUM KHASSAH: gFEAR FROM PUNISHMENT OF ALLAH WHICH WILL NOT BE CONFINED TO SINNERS ALONEh.
This verse also means that the INNOCENTS, those who are not sinners, may also be punished in certain situations. This punishment of no-n-sinners i.e. INNOCENTS has a justification in this verse of Quran and in the action or judgment of Hazrat Umer (RATU).  In a democratic country like America, where governments are elected by peoplefs will, all voters are responsible for the actions of their government. It is not a kingdom acting alone. Governments do what their people and media wants them to do. For the massacre of Palestinians during the last 50 years and other acts of aggrandizement which Osama has mentioned in his speeches, he holds every American citizen responsible and thus justifies their killings. I am not pleading for it. I personally prefer what Maulana Maudoodi has said i.e. to adopt democratic, peaceful and lawful means for bringing about any change. I am just try to explain his point of view for understanding his mind and motives.

Now, then it is a matter of Ijtehad or judgment as to where to apply this exception of punishing the innocents. Osama applied it to Americans. I will not apply it in this way. But I have no right to close the door of heaven for Osama Shaheed, even if I disagree with the means he adopted. It is said that Allah forgives, if there is a mistake of Ijtehad i.e. of judgment in a particular situation.
To tell you the truth that even those, who disapprove his terrorist style, are happy.in their heart that Osama has taken revenge of thousands of Muslims that were killed by Israel under American patronage with full American military, economic, political and all-round support.
JEWS HAVE MADE AMERICA A COUNTRY TO BE HATED
The Jews have made America hateful for Muslims. The Israel lobby has played its role. Two Harvard University Professors have written joint articles and published a voluminous book on the Israel lobby. It shows how American Foreign Policy was dictated by the Jews and how it was under the complete control of the Israel lobby.

After the killings of thousands of innocent Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan, a feeling of revenge is burning in every Muslim heart and the weakening of American economy provides a solace and comfort to such revengeful hearts of Muslims all over the world. Whether we endorse Bin Ladenfs actions or not, it has brought about a result, weakening of American economy, which is a matter of consolation for Muslims in addition to its many benefits for the Muslims in future.

I REGARD OSAMA AS SHAHEED
I have read details of Osamafs unlawful killing in todayfs newspaper. He retreated to his room but kept the door open for the incoming Navy Seals. There was white flag on the door. He had a Pistol and Rifle in his room  Instead of fighting, he raised his both hands and said something in Arabic. The interpreter said that he is saying gI surrenderh. Navy Seal was surprised by this answer. Obama group was watching all this in Washington. The Vice President expressed his opinion being a murderer of 3,000 people, he should be killed. Navy Seal killed him beyond all canons of justice and law. This is American justice style. They had no proof to prove that he was the master-mind of 9/11. Mullah Umar offered Osama for justice in any Muslim country if Bush provided any proof of his involvement. But Bush answered by aggression on Afghanistan. Not only under Islam, but according to any law it was a crime and murder of an innocent man to kill him without proving his guilt in a court of law.  Therefore, he is Shaheed under such circumstances.
