Red fighters and participants arrive at the venue as soon as the sun rises.
Final touches are made on the backdrop as participants arrive.
Participants arrive on all types of vehicles including hauler trucks, vans, jeeps, SUVs and others.
Jeeps filled with participants line up in traffic. Because of military and police checkpoints, traffic built up to two kilometers leading to San Agustin town, Surigao del Sur. (2 preceeding photos)
Ka Oris addresses reporters before the start of the program. He denounced the police and military checkpoints which harassed participants joining the celebrations.
