Re: PRESS STATEMENT: '26/11 Truth' - Karkare's Bullet-proof vest 'disappears' Mumbai Mirror

AWAMI BHARAT

PRESS STATEMENT

HEMANT KARKARE'S BULLETPROOF VEST MISSING -
WHAT DOES IT IMPLY ??

The story that appeared on the front pages of the newspapers across all the languages in Bombay & across the country, was the fact that Kavita Karkare, the widow of the martyr Shri Hemant Karkare is asking the Government of India & it's police "Where is my husbands' bullet-proof vest ??". She has also applied for the 'Post-Mortem Report', which too inexplicably has been refused.

If the matter is all so simple that the terrorists killed Karkare, than why the need to hide the evidence ? In fact we should be sending dossiers to all the capitals of the world. But that intriguingly does not seem to be the case.

The media is carrying two different types of reports in the case of the missing bullet proof vest:

1) The Bulletproof jacket was faulty, thus the need to hide the same as it would have brought certain politicians & bureaucrats under the scanner.

To this our retort is that then why not have the rest of the 750 odd bullet-proof vests disappeared ?? Why only H. Karkares'. Out of all the vests being used that night, was only Karkare's faulty ??

Thus this clearly is not the reason.

2) More remarkably now the police tells us that the missing jacket is of no consequence "as the bullets did not hit the bullet-proof vest at all". Unbelievable but true !!

This is far to bizarre. On checking with our sources in the police, we have confirmed that the inspection of the vest would have proved as to which bullets struck the vest. This is the reason that the vest has done the 'Houdini act'.

Within each vest lies a thick protective fibre shield. It is within this shield that the bullets would have been lodged & thus this would have confirmed:

1) The nature of the bullets & thus the weapon from which they were fired &

2) Whether it was those bullets that proved lethal & killed Shri Karkare.

Clearly now the police are saying two things which we ourselves had stated on 27th of November 2008 itself.

We had stated that:

1) Shri Karkare was struck in the neck & did not die of hits to the chest as was claimed by the police earlier. We have been vindicated on this count.

2) The 5 bullets that struck him were 9mm bullets fired from a revolver / carbine & not from an AK47. This will also be proven, if the police would be honest enough to release the post-mortem report & make it public.

We have also now got confirmed reports from police sources that the bullets went down from the neck 'vertically downwards' into his body.

The police is still refusing to divulge the fact that the 5 bullets that struck Karkare were 9mm bullets - Why ?? !! ?? !!

The fact of the matter is that the police themselves carry 9mm carbines & this is very critical to what transpired that night.

As far as the case of the missing bullet-proof vest is concerned, we are told that it disappeared by the time that the corpse got to the Sion Hospital.

The investigation here is a very simple matter.

The team of police officials who arrived at the scene of the murder & who carried the corpse to the hospital need to be taken into custody & questioned as they are clearly the ones who have seen to it that the bullet-proof vest was disposed of & disappeared into thin air & along with a lot of other incriminating evidence as well.

The record of the telephone calls made by this group to their political handlers for instructions will lead us to the core that had a stake in the murder of Shri Hemant Karkare.

The above is proof enough for any 26/11 sceptics who still wish to go by the state & police version of the events which have been lapped up by the dominant section of the media under the instructions of the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Now it has been proved beyond doubt that Shri Hemant Karkare was murdered in cold blood that night.

Murdered, because he  was investigating the terror network that comprised networks that wove themselves into the Brahmanical RSS, the IB as well as it's affiliates within the Military & the security apparatus.

Murdered, because he had stated that the Samjhauta Express blast was the handiwork of the Abhinav Bharat.

Murdered, because he was about to expose the links of Pravin Togadia to the Samjhauta Express blast.

Murdered, because his investigation was leading him to the connecting links between Nanded, Jalna, Parbhani, Malegaon, Jaipur, Hyderabad . . . . . terror attacks.

Our appeal to the Indian State is that they desist from raising the little Frankenstein's in our backyard & learn from the pathetic state of Pakistan. These terror organizations that are trained & funded by the IB & RAW will finally emerge as power centres of their own & begin to serve foreign vested interests.

In any case both the Abhinav Bharat & the Sanatan Sanstha, for that matter the RSS has very strong ideological links with Zionist Israel & none can deny that fact now. These monsters will prove extremely dangerous for the very unity of our country if they are not dealt with.

Thus our long standing demands need to be reiterated:

a) Institute a Commission of inquiry to investigate the death of Shri Hemant Karkare & his colleagues.

b) Make public the Post-Mortem Report of Shri Hemant Karkare.

c) Make public the 'Ram Prahdhan Committee Report'

d) Institute a 'National Judicial Commission of Inquiry to Investigate the Mumbai 26/11 Terror Attack'.

Lastly my appeal is to the secular-liberals. Whilst we will all be mourning the victims of 26/11, holding prayer meetings, organizing peace marches & burning candles - we appeal to you all to start asking questions that challenge the lies of 26/11 that the Government, Politicians, the IB & the Police would want us to believe.

The need is for the people to look through the deceit & expose the politics of terror as they have become the new form of communalism that is dividing the masses by spreading fear & hate.

It all is elementary - my dear - People !!

Namaste-Shastri-Akal-Salaam & Jai Bhim.

Jai Bharat - Jai Hind.

Karkare's bullet-vest disappears

Startling fact revealed by his wife's RTI inquiry adds to the mystery over ATS boss's death during 26/11

The bullet-proof jacket worn by the Anti Terrorist Squad chief Hemant Karkare on the night he died on 26/11 has gone missing.

This came to light in the course of Right to Information application filed by his wife Kavita Karkare.

"When his body was found, the bulletproof jacket was missing...even at the hospital. From that time on, I have been fretting about this and I felt the need to file an RTI application. The reply I got was that his bullet-proof jacket had gone missing," Kavita Karkare told this newspaper. When asked what her next course of action would be, if any, she said it was for the people to take the matter further.

The revelations to the RTI query have opened a Pandora's Box as a petition over the efficacy of bullet-proof vests is soon coming up in the High Court. An examination of Karkare's vest would have revealed if the jackets were indeed of inferior quality as suggested by the petitioner Santosh Daundkar.

Lawyer Y P Singh, who is fighting for Daundkar, said that the matter of jacket going missing looked to be "fishy".

"There were 16 violations of Store Purchase Manual and Maharashtra Public Records Act while procurring those 110 bulletproof jackets in 2002. During the course of the case, the government said that the file had gone missing. Now the jacket is gone missing. The examination of the jacket would have proved if they were substandard or not. Several senior officers would have got in trouble because of this," Singh pointed.

Former Inspector General S Mushrif who recently released his book "Who Killed Karkare?" said the missing bullet proof vest only fortiied his theory that something was amiss with Karkare's death. "The circumstances of his death should be reinvestigated," Mushrif added.

"The investigations must include questioning the hospital staff as well since it is the responsibility of the hospital to preserve the clothes of the deceased. Also the police officers who took Karkare to hospital and later to the postmortem centre should be questioned. This is very unusual," he said.

"There was lot of confusion on that night and there were lot of people involved. Karkare's vest may have been lost from the hospital where he was taken to. It has happened almost a year ago and we will have to investigate as to what happened on that night?" said Police Commissioner D Sivanandan.

A senior Crime Branch officer added that while it was a matter of concern that the bulletproof jacket went missing at the hands of local police and hospital staff, it will have no bearing on the case.

"Karkare was not hit on the chest. He died of a bullet injury in his neck," he pointed.

An investigating officer in the case also pointed that the bulletproof jacket sustained no bullet hits.

Dr Bhalchandra Chikhlikar of the Grant Medical College had testified during 26/11 trial that Karkare had sustained five bullet injuries, but had not specified the location of wounds.

Slain officer Ashok Kamte's wife Vinita, too, had complained of reluctance to share details of wireless transcripts when she had filed an RTI in the matter. She had alleged that there was discrepancy in records maintained by the police which led to suspicion that the records could have been tampered with.
