What a wedding it was!

Folks,

Those of you who did not make it to Hyderabad missed out big time! This must certainly qualify as the biggest wedding of my life! Chander had it all organised to the finest detail. Including making sure he could personally welcome as many of his guests as possible! He has the energy of a stud bull - the man can look as fresh as a daisy even at the mid night hour when he is at the airport to receive his friends and business associates!

For us of the Pantnagar Clan it was an exceptional time that we had - we were all put up at the Taj Deccan so it was easy for all of us to meet and mingle - the wives enjoyed catching up with each other and comparing notes about their aging husbands! The kids enjoyed each others' company while the old farts went on and on ad nauseum about the old times at the University! In between all this we got to take in the sights and sounds and smells of Hyderabad and its Nizami culture! There were Turkish guests of Chander who simply loved the fact that the Nizams were basically of Turkish stock! We also had Koreans for company then there were Japanese, Chinese, Malaysians, Aussies and people from England and Spain! For many of us this was when we caught up with long lost friends - Pradeep had not seen MSRK, Venu, VK Murthy, MGR and so many others for over 30 years!

Thank you Chander and Sharada for allowing us to experience such a fantastic wedding spectacle. We all had the time of our lives and this experience will remain an ever green memory in our minds for a long long time, atleast until Mr Alzheimer claims our memories! Here are some of the pictures I took at the wedding, the official pics will be amazing so before they hit the net check out my handiwork!
