This means most of the common masses and specially poor and marginalized section have to bear the most brunt. The inflation data which is now above 10% has already affected the poor people at large and this new medical bill where radiological fees are high will make them more vulnerable,so where and how the poor patients will manage for health services?,yes definitely to private services which they can't afford.The grounds on which Govt wants the radiologist services are hollow like non availability of expert person and expensive machinery's.
We from MPJ feel this will set a bad trend and a testing ground to privatize entire 'Health Services' which is totally unacceptable.
By privatizing the Govt of Maharashtra is abdicating its responsibility to serve our poor masses as enshrined in our constitution.
Therefore we demand immediate revoke of such order and shun the idea to privatize 'Radiological Services' which will harm our poor masses, on contrary focus must lie to enhance and upgrade Public Health care system and make them avail at 'No-Cost at All'.We do hope Govt of Mah. will pay heed to the woes of Aam Admi to alleviate poverty.
If our demands are not met by 26th October 2011 MPJ will be forced to lead a peaceful democratic Dharna throughout Mahrashtra.

आरोग्य खात्यातील 383 ग्रामीण आणि 23 जिल्हा रुग्णालयांमध्ये रोगनिदान करण्यासाठी क्ष-किरण आणि सिटी स्कॅन यंत्रणा सुरू करण्यात आली आहे. पण, ही यंत्रणा सुरू ठेवणे हे आरोग्य खात्याला डोकेदुखी ठरत आहे. त्यातून सुटका करून घेण्यासाठी राज्यातील रेडिओलॉजी विभागाचे खासगीकरण करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
रोगनिदानाची ही सर्व उपकरणे अत्यंत महागडी असल्याने याच्या खर्चातून सुटका करून घेण्यासाठी हे खासगीकरण करण्यात येत आहे. या सर्वांचा थेट फटका सरकारी रुग्णालयात उपचारासाठी येणाऱ्या सामान्य रुग्णाला बसणार आहे. खासगी आरोग्य सेवा आवाक्‍याबाहेर गेल्याने सरकारी रुग्णालये हीच गरीब रुग्णांपुढे आशेचा किरण राहिली आहेत. अशा स्थितीत आरोग्य खात्याने रेडिओलॉजिस्ट विभागाच्या खासगीकरणाचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.
वैद्यकीय उपकरणांसाठी रेडिओलॉजिस्टची गरज असते. वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयांमधून बाहेर पडणारे रेडिओलॉजिस्ट शासकीय सेवेकडे पाठ फिरवत आहेत. त्यामुळे प्रशिक्षित मनुष्यबळाचा मोठा तुटवडा येथे जाणवत असल्याने हा निर्णय घेतल्याचे वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांनी सांगितले.
याबाबत राज्याच्या आरोग्य खात्याचे अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव जयंत कुमार बांठिया यांनी "सकाळ'ला माहिती दिली. ते म्हणाले, ""राज्यातील आरोग्य खात्याच्या सर्व रुग्णालयांमधील "एमआरआय', सिटी स्कॅन, क्ष-किरण, सोनोग्राफी मशिन यांचे खासगीकरण करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. त्यासाठी उत्पादक कंपन्यांना निविदा भरण्याची संधी देण्यात येणार आहे. विदर्भ, मराठवाडा आणि पश्‍चिम महाराष्ट्र अशा तीन विभागांमध्ये ही निविदा जाहीर करण्यात येणार असून, एका उत्पादक कंपनीला दोन विभागांतून निविदा भरता येतील. त्यासाठी सरकारी रुग्णालयातील जागा कंपनीला देण्यात येणार आहे.''
""गरीब आणि दारिद्य्ररेषेखालील रुग्णांना मोफत किंवा कमी किमतीमध्ये या सेवा देण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करण्यात येणार आहे; पण त्याची किंमत अद्याप निश्‍चित करण्यात आलेली नाही,'' असेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.
""रेडिओलॉजीच्या तंत्रज्ञानात वेगाने बदल होत आहे. या उपकरणांची संगणकप्रणालीही सातत्याने बदलत असते. शासकीय यंत्रणेमध्ये या वेगाने बदल करता येत नाही. त्यामुळे खासगीकरणाचा निर्णय घेतला आहे,''
