We Lost our heart and Mind! Our Poet, Friend and philosopher Guide, GIRDA Left us all in COMA!

Just writing this write up and browsing net, the NEWS broke my spine! I have no words to detail the shock as we may Not imagine Himalayas without the Folk Peot so dear, Darling of the People. He would be there NEVER Never once again! I just talked to our friend Harish pant last day as I got the news from Chandigarh as alok Verma informed. In Nainital, i could not get anyone. But I succeeded to get Harish pant in the Hospital in Haldwani. He  informed that the Ulcer Operation was successful but GIRDA was not in sense. I was hoping for a miracle once again knowing well the DIE Hard. he was so committed , so deep in Grass Root , he should have NOT left his People in dire Straits like this. I dared not to call Nainital though Sabita was insisting. I just informed rajiv Katiyar. Now, Rajiv said that zahoor informed him this afternoon but he was not any mood to convey. Sabita is blaming me that I did not call in the Morning as if she should be that Suprestitious that GIRDA would have ANSWERED. Really, he did LOVE us so much so!Sabita, has been in Acute Pain for last Ten days. Today the Pain was so intense, that she was quite Restless and we derailed from our daily Routine. Is it some Telepathy?

GIRDA has directed famous plays like "Andha Yug", "Andher Nagri", "Thank you Mr. ... GIRDA's latest compilation of poems and songs specially focusing "Uttarakhand !

Poet Girda not keeping well
Dehradun, May 6
Girish Tiwari 'Girda' is not keeping well. The famous poet, whose writing was an inspiration for Uttarakhand agitators, has developed multiple disorders. The poet of the masses, who is equally acclaimed by Kumaoni and Hindi-knowing people, has lost weight drastically.

As Girda has trained us to be concerned with all burning Problems, I just try to note some updates which should Not be missed. It is quite a coincidence that Dilip Mandal, Now Professor in Center of Mass Communication, New Delhi  called me this morning and enquired about my health!

Dalai Lama is honoured guest: India

Anil Agarwal set to pip Mukesh Ambani as richest Indian! Vedanat Chief has challenegd the supremacy of Ambani as the Government of India Incs tries its best to defend AMBANI Interests blocking Vedant. The saga is very interesting as the same ruling Hegemony is SET all out ready to go for Ethnic leansing in Orissa to ensure clean sweep for Vedanta. Then, the equations cahnge quickly with the Cairns Energy take over!

On the other hand, Fresh changes in N-bill may trigger a new row! Thus, greater emphasis is focused on defending the Galaxy Post Modern Zionist Hindu manusmriti apartheid Order of Exclusion axised with US war Economy!Government has brought some fresh amendments to the Nuclear Liability Bill that are likely to trigger a fresh controversy as these could be seen as diluting the right of recourse of operator to seek damages from supplier in the event of an accident. One of the 18 amendments cleared by the Union Cabinet yesterday suggests that an accident in a nuclear plant should have occurred as a consequence of an act done with an "intent" if an operator has to claim damages from supplier.

Meanwhile RSS, specifically its Religious wing VHP gears for yet another Ram Mandir Movement as Shafron Terror exposed so naked and Narendra Modi may not Cover his face under US CBI Umbrella!

Against the backdrop of China''s reported protest against the Dalai Lama''s meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh recently, India today said it considers the Tibetan leader an "honoured guest" but does not "encourage" him to engage in political activities. Seeking to downplay the issue, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said India considers Tibetan Autonomous Region as part of China and "that should bring down curtains on any controversy".

Asked at a joint press conference with Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada about reports of the Chinese protest, Krishna said "India''s position (on Tibet and the Dalai Lama) has been stated repeatedly, unequivocally and categorically." He said he had told the Chinese Foreign Minister earlier that the Dalai Lama is an "honoured guest" of India and a "spiritual leader" respected by millions of people in the country.

"We do not encourage anyone to get into politics or any other activity that could affect relations between the two country," Krishna said. China has been protesting whenever any Indian leader meets the Dalai Lama or visits Arunachal Pradesh.

The amended Clause 17 says "the operator of a nuclear installation, after paying the compensation for nuclear damage in accordance with Section 6, shall have a right of recourse where -- (a) such right is expressly provided for in a contract in writing; (b) the nuclear incident has resulted as a consequence of an act of supplier or his employees, done with the intent to cause nuclear damage, and such act includes supply of equipment or material with patent or latent defects or sub-standard services; (c) the nuclear incident has resulted from the act of commission or ommission of an individual done with intent to cause nuclear damage." Experts feel that the mention of "intent" in the sub-clauses (b) and (c) regarding an accident may give a route to suppliers to escape responsibility because it would be difficult to prove intent in any such mishap.

This amendment in the Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage Bill, 2010 will be moved along with 17 other amendments in the Lok Sabha on August 25. Significantly, neither the original bill nor the recommendations of Parliamentary Standing Committee which examined it had contained such a proposal.

Only earlier this week, the government had to beat a hasty retreat when a controversy arose over inclusion of a word "And" between sub-clauses (a) and (b) in Clause 17 which the BJP and Left parties feared diluted the supplier''s liability in case of an accident. The government then dropped the controversial word but reworked the language of the Clause 17 in which the word "intent" has been included.

CPI leader D Raja reacted strongly to the fresh changes made by the government, saying these would dilute the supplier''s liability drastically. "I don''t understand what they say.

Disaster is a disaster. Who will agree that this was done willfully or deliberately.

It is irrational and ridiculous," he said. The Left parties would look at the amendments carefully when these are brought to Parliament and decide their strategy.

The proposed takeover of Cairn Energy''s India business could see NRI billionaire Anil Agarwal emerging as the richest promoter of a corporate house ahead of Mukesh Ambani, who has ruled the list for long. After the acquisition of Cairn India and a proposed IPO of group firm Sterlite Energy, Anil Agarwal, as head of the promoter family, would command an estimated networth of close to Rs 1,67,000 crore, ahead of Mukesh Ambani at Rs 1,45,275 crore, a comparison of promoter family holding valuations for leading groups reveals.

However, Mukesh-led RIL is a wealthier group than Agarwal''s Vedanta, although both are behind the Tatas, whose market capitalisation in terms of listed entities is over Rs 3,70,000 crore. However, in terms of promoters'' wealth, Tata group chief Ratan Tata hardly compares to either Mukesh or Agarwal.

In their own respective fields of business, Agarwal is a global leader in the metals and mining, while Mukesh is among the top-ranked international players in the fields of petrochemicals and largest private sector oil group in India. Agarwal is now entering oil business through the Cairn India acquisition and his capacity to play to the size could now make competition intense in oil sector.

At the same time, the acquisition would give the Agarwal family double the size of Anil Ambani group (whose promoter wealth currently stands at less than Rs 80,000 crore). The USD 9.6 billion takeover of Cairn India has already pushed Vedanta group head Anil Agarwal to the second position after Mukesh Ambani in terms of family net worth, measured in terms of value of shares held as promoters in five listed group companies.

Add to this, the value of shares he holds in aluminium major Balco and IPO-bound group firm Sterlite Energy, the promoter family wealth of Anil Agarwal group could rise to nearly Rs 1,66,938 crore. In comparison, the promoter family wealth of Mukesh Ambani group currently stands at Rs 1,45,276 crore, based on the value of promoter holdings in two listed group firms Reliance Industries and Reliance Industrial Infrastructure.

Without Sterlite Energy, which has proposed an initial public offer of Rs 5,100 crore, and Balco, where Vedanta group has 51 per cent stake, the total promoter family networth of the Vedanta group currently stands at Rs 1,38,465 crore. This includes the value of promoter shares in Sterlite, Hindustan Zinc, Sesa Goa (all listed in India) and that in UK-listed Vedanta Resources, as also the worth of proposed 60 per cent stake in Cairn India proposed to be purchased from Scotland-based Cairn Energy.

The total networth would rise by over Rs 28,000 crore if Balco is taken at par with its peer group company Nalco, which has a market cap of Rs 25,830 crore, and the group offloads 25 per cent stake in Sterlite Energy to raise Rs 5,100 crore.

Amway for law to regulate direct selling cos'' activities

US-based FMCG firm Amway India, which is on an expansion spree, has sought a law for regulating direct selling companies'' activities to ensure fairplay. A law and a regulatory mechanism should be in place for the rapidly growing direct selling business like those in the US, Britain, Singapore, China and Malaysia, Amway India CEO William S Pinckney told reporters here.

"Such a law will provide a comprehensive safety net for all players in the business as well as consumers. There should be a regulatory regime to distinguish between good and bad direct selling companies," he said.

The Indian Direct Selling Association has already submitted a proposal to the government after analysing laws governing direct selling companies in different countries, he said. Claiming that Amway India is the country''s largest direct selling FMCG company, Pinckney said it has posted 26 per cent growth for the second quarter of this fiscal compared to the same period last year.

In the past three years the company''s turnover has grown from Rs 799 crore (RPTG) Rs 799 Crore to Rs 1,407 crore (RPTG) Rs 1,407 crore. The company, he said, has invested more than Rs 151 crore in the country and has 130 offices and 55 city warehouses covering over 4,000 locations through its home delivery network.

It has carried out major expansions recently and has increased the production capacity 3 times at its facilities here by commissioning 4 new production lines at an investment of Rs 55 crore. Almost 85 per cent of the products sold by the company are now manufactured within the country through 7 third-party contract manufacturers, he said, adding it currently offers over 115 products in five categories of personal care, home care, nutrition and wellness, cosmetics and gifts, Pinckney said.

Amway India launches about ten new products every year, he said. "Our leading categories nutrition, wellness and cosmetics contribute about 60 per cent to our revenues.

Two brands in nutrition and wellness category are Rs 100 crore each." The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the 8.4 billion dollar Amway Corporation of USA, currently has 9 brand experience centres and plans to add another 20 over the next year besides expanding infrastructure by setting up more Amway Touch Points.

Established in 1995, Amway India commenced commercial operations in 1998.

It is a time when at least one US senator is walking around terming Indian IT companies 'chop shops'. President Barack Obama, for his part, had recently even announced that keeping jobs away from India, China has helped US recovery. But outsourcing and India are actually doing a lot of good as this article highlights:

The popular perception is that companies in India are taking jobs away from Americans but the numbers on the ground tell a different story.

In the last five years alone, 90 Indian companies have created 16,576 jobs in the US by investing $5.5 billion in new companies and saved over 40,000 jobs by making 372 acquisitions and investing $21 billion (for 272 deals).

These were some of the interesting findings of a recent study on How America Benefits from Economic Engagement with India by the India-US World Affairs Institute of Washington, the Robert H Smith School of Business, University of Maryland and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry.

Authored by Professor Vinod Jain of the University of Maryland and Kamlesh Jain, director of research & education at the India-US World Affairs Institute, the study covers India's foreign direct investments into the US and US exports to India, as well as an assessment of their impacts on the American economy.

True Patriot said 'The dark fact is that americans and westerners are just businessmen and they will go to any extent to loot and control third world nations and that includes india. ......... &how we were reduced to a super banana republic by all these british double agents&by their dirty tricks.' True Patriot: you have a fantastic facy mind. Your analysis is 'wonderful'. Irrespective of the British rule in India, India will not be one country today but for the British rule. Indians will not know any English but for the British rule. Whatever economic prosperity India is enjoying today will not happen but for India as one country and English language. The unfortunate thing for India is the ever increasing corruption in India due to netas and babus. Look at babus corruption under the tables during Neru's days and becoming over the table for the past 30-40 years. The way the Bhopal gas tragidy is being handled by the for 26 years IS THE RESULT OF HORUNDOUS CORRUPTION BY NETAS AND BABUS. Bofors scandal - only Rs 64 crores in 1987; later, Mayavathi amazing a wealth to Rs 90,000 crores; Madhu KOda facing charges of money laundering of over Rs 2,000 crores; Laloo Prasad Yadav Bihar CM's fodder scam; 2G specrum scandal estimated to be at Rs 100,000 cr; Now India is being srewed by moneyed Indians with the help of BABUS AND NETAS. SO WHY BLAME aMERICA AND THE WEST.

It is good to know all these facts as uncovered by the research. Though we need to look at ourselves too. A vast majority of indians coming in US coming from some particular region , majority of whom are IT workers tend to save a lot of money and send it to india to invest in real estate market and in other markets. This has created an imbalance in economies of both the countries and local residents of both countries are suffering. One one hand the prices of houses and land have sky rocketed in certain parts of india due to american indians investing in them . Due to this local people are unable to buy even small houses and they are suffering due to price hikes. Now as this chunk of money is sent to india by these IT workers this money is going away from US . these people are not spending money in US which has certainly contributed to the economical crises over here. I would request IT workers to spend their money over here. only if there is a dire need they can help their relatives in india.

The dark fact is that americans and westerners are just businessmen and they will go to any extent to loot and control third world nations and that includes india.See how hypocritic and immoral they are mis-leading us and fooling us all the time and this has been happening ever snce the brittish india company came as traders and finally controlled us for 500 years and looted us trillions and trillions of dollars using all sorts of dirty tricks and using double agents and fake freedom fighters like mahatma gandhee and nerhy and by folling us with the dirtyt trick of non-violence,etc,etc which allowed the british to rule and lott trillions and trillions of dollars without fear of getting hurt or killed, etc.Historians of future will judge mahatma gandhee and nehru as the greatest traitors and doube agents who destroyed the morale and pride of india and made aqbillion indians hindus ennuchs and cowards without the power to stand up and fight.Of course all those who benefited from the double agents and the crooked nehru dynasty will throw stones at me , but drak facts are dark facts and any amount of geobeelain publicity by indian print and electronic media will not remove the anger against british double agents and fake freedom fighters from the minds of the real patriots. Please analyze all events of india's histroy of past 100 years and any one who has sense of logic and brain will appreciate the darkest cahpter of our indian history&how we were reduced to a super banana republic by all these british double agents&by their dirty tricks.
