Dear Sir,


We strongly condemn the brutal attack by the private security forces
on journalists at Technopollis in Kolkata today.

It is very sad to say that,  the private security guards overpowered
and manhandled few journalists who were in assignments, covering the
bomb threat at the prominent IT establishment located at new town.

The hennish act not only affected the work process of the journalist,
also demoralised the meaning of freedom for press.

On behalf of all photojournalists in Kolkata Press Photographers'
Association Of India(PPAI) strongly demand to the state government to
initiate a thorough investigation and bring the culprits under the
law.
