The Palestinian cultural boycott (PACBI) website states the purpose of the cultural boycott is the same as the purpose of the BDS, namely :
"Boycotting Israeli academic and cultural institutions is an urgently needed form of pressure against Israel that can bring about its compliance with international law and the requirements for a just peace." (see : http://www.pacbi.org/etemplate.php?id=868).
Which is why the zionist Dr. Neve Gordon states that :
"BDS is also not about a particular solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but rather the demand that Israel abide by international law and UN resolutions. It is accordingly something that you can support if you are for a two state solution or a one state solution. You can even support it as a Zionist."( see : http://countercurrents.org/gordon110710.htm ).
In other words, there is no Palestinian objection to the continued rule by the zionist apartheid regime of Israel, even if the BDS campaign would fully succeed. Which is very close to what the PA regime in Ramallah has been saying all the time, namely, that it wants to make peace with the zionist regime on the basis of the "two states solution".
No wonder the zionist Neve Gordon states that "You can even support (BDS) as a Zionist." The likely upshot being that the BDS movement would end up as an appendage of the PA Ramallah regime which is in the process of capitulation to the zionist enemy !
If this tendency is under the tacit approval of the Palestinian leaders - as none of them has raised any objection so far - then it is very similar to their approval of Raji Sourani's betrayal of myself and my children to the ongoing zionist Gestapo torture here, in Australia.
Under such circumstances the only hope left for us is the solidarity protests by all people of good will around the world.

This torture is perpetrated against Benjamin Merhav directly by the clandestine arm of the State of Israel (the zionist Gestapo), and indirectly by the same culprit against Benjamin's daughter and son.
I demand that the Australian government instruct ASIO to protect these Australian citizens, and stop these terrorist crimes by a foreign government on Australian soil immediately !"
2. to ICJ-Australia and ICJ Secretariat (email president@icj-aust.org.au,chair@icj-aust.org.au,sec-gen@icj-aust.org.au,
info@icj.dk,info@icj.org ) a message along the following lines :
"I protest your refusal to investigate Benjamin Merhav's complaint against the Australian government's approval of ASIO's violation of the rule of law in Australia, regarding the continuous torture in Melbourne of himself, his daughter and his son , all Australian citizens, by the clandestine arm of the State of Israel (the zionist Gestapo).
I demand your immediate intervention to protect these Australian citizens, to stop the perpetration of these terrorist crimes In Australia, and to end these violations of the rule of law by the Australian government in Australia."
3. to the PCHR and to all the Palestinian leaders in occupied Palestine ( email english@palestine-info.co.uk ;
pchr@pchrgaza.org ) message along the following
lines :
"I protest the betrayal of Benjamin Merhav by Raji Sourani to the zionist Gestapo's torture.
