I predicted the second week that this so called leak 'event' would lead to the merger of BP with another oil conglomerate to increase the oil monopoly

and just wait Transcocean will be on the block and gobbled up too  - after all deep water drilling remains lucrative; and, as we have seen a provocative weapon off the right shore line ... eh ...?

 

As i noted  - months ago now - almost the entire executive group of Transocean bailed out, just weeks before the 'accident', including the many many ex military and US NAVY Academy grad CEO ... just all coincidences ... right ?...

 

I have encouraged all the talk shows to interview that US Academy nuclear engineer grad but alas ... he has retire vey rich like the rest of those that jumped ship before the 'explosion' sank their Deepwater Horizon drilling 'jewel' .... This whole event smells very fishy folks ... and getting stinkier ... 

 

And, while you are wondering the future of BP or Chinese drilling in Prudoe Bay -  read the article below how the USA quietly gave  a start up $2 Billion + grant/low interest loans to pay for offshore drilling off Brazil - oil already promised to Fascist China .... - funny an agreement with unlimited potential funding negotiated by the National Security Advisor - not someone in Commerce or the Treasury ??.crg

BP Holds Talks to Sell Assets to Apache

 

BP is in talks to sell assets, including stakes in its Alaska oil fields, to Apache for $10 billion to $12 billion, The New York Times reports, citing a person briefed on the matter.

Should a deal be reached -- one is not expected immediately -- it would help provide BP with additional money to pay for cleaning up the immense oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Talks are continuing and may not result in a transaction, this person cautioned.

Among the assets that may be sold is BP's 26 percent stake in the Prudhoe Bay field in Alaska's North Slope, the largest oil field in North America.

DealBook has wrapped up its coverage of the Allen & Company conference in Sun Valley, Idaho, a confab that lacked some of the buzz of previous years.

While plenty of moguls were on hand, with executives like Demand Media's Richard Rosenblatt and Zynga's Mark Pincus garnering plenty of attention, boldfaced names like Sir Martin Sorrell of WPP still seemed overly cautious about the direction of the economy. (We also waited -- and waited and waited -- to get comment from Google about China's decision to renew its mainland operating license.)
