Israeli Pirates Must Be Brought To Justice
Canada and the USA Must Withdraw Support from Israel
Calgary) The Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) strongly condemns the
Israeli Government for murdering innocent aid workers in the Gaza Flotilla
attack. These ships were operating in the International Waters and were
going to supply desperately needed aid and medicine for the people of Gaza.
Due to the long economic blockade by the Israeli forces the people of Gaza
are in desperate situation. They need support from the international
community.
ISCC calls on the government of Canada and all the Western governments to
withdraw their support for Israel. The International community must condemn
the piracy and murderous behavior of Israeli armed forces and should hold
Israeli government responsible for murdering innocent people.
We urge Prime Minister Stephen Harper to recognize the cruelty and the abuse
of Israeli government and reconsider his support for Israel. Canada must not
support an oppressor and a pirate army. We hope that our Prime Minister
will uphold the Canadian values of human rights and justice for all.
ISCC urges the Palestinians and the Muslims around the world to resist
Israeli occupation of Palestine through non-violence means. Due to the
recent violence by the Israeli army, we should not respond with violence.
The peaceful, non-violence resistance will be more effective and quick for
ending Israeli occupation of Palestine.
