Please light the candle on UN anti-Racism Day(21 March) in support of Neo-Dalit Movement: broader unity of broken people against Caste system,Communal Fascism and neo-liberal policy. It is in support of justice,secularism,peace,non-violence and prosperity.Lenin

The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is observed annually on 21 March. On that day, in 1960, police opened fire and killed 69 people at a peaceful demonstration in Sharpeville, South Africa, against the apartheid "pass laws". Proclaiming the ...Day in 1966, the General Assembly called on the international community to redouble its efforts to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination. http://www.un.org/en/events/racialdiscriminationday/

The first article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights affirms that "all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights". The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination reminds us of our collective responsibility for promoting and protecting this ideal.

To commemorate this day, Savitri Bai Phule Womens' Forum (SWF) and Peoples' Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) are together launching neo dalit movement in India http://www.pvchr.net/2011/07/call-for-neo-dalit-movement-to.html and if you are unable to come, please light a candle on that day and discuss the issue.
Celebration of day will be followed by a discussion on neo dalits movement in gender perspective on 22 March, 2012 at 11 am at Paradkar Smriti Bhawan, Maidagin Varanasi, India.
Please confirm your esteem presence and send your report and feedback at pvchr.india@gmail.com
Looking forward for your kind participation

Shruti Nagvanshi (Managing Trustee), Shirin Shabana Khan (Senior Manager, Management Committee) and Katyayini Singh (From Management Committee)

A union of lower castes against the upper castes alienation, a union of religions against communitarianism, a union of the poor against neo-liberalism. Three fights lead by one community, the neo-Dalits. `
