 | Those upper caste political dadas/didis(includes communists,feminists,congress,hindu fundamentalists) who think that Dalit/Adivasi movement is castetist and separatist needs to be told some thing. But before I say that let me quote from American intellectual,writer and former CIA officer Michael Sawyer(he resigned from his CIA job and is currently with peace movement). Mr Sawyer said "It is wrong for us Americans or for anyone to impose their political ideology on others, thinking that a Jefforsonian style democracy or Marxism will prevail ultimately all over the world is a flaud thinking,problem with American politicians s that they want to impose upon Arabs and Muslims a western style democracy because they think it is an ultimate solution, Soviets also thought that Marxism is an inevitable consequence in Afghanistan , and Soviets failed for that reson, now Americans are going around the world and forcefully trying to impose on people Jefforsonian style democracy , and Americans will also fail just like Soviets, the solution is we Americans should leave this Arabs and Muslim alone and let them decide for themselves what they want, their own social structure which they have been following for long time suits them best." The reason why I quoted Michael Sawyer is simple I have been seeing the upper caste political people blindly attacking the Dalit/Adivasi movement by calling it fundamentalist,castetist and trying to manipulate them to suit their own political agenda, forgetting the fact that both Dalits/Adivasis are soverign people and have right to decide what is best for themselves, this is the very reason why Maoist got finished in West Bengal because they were interfering in internal social matters of Adivasis that is the reason why Adivasis stoped co-operating with Maoist and Maoist without help from local tribes got caught like rats and are surrendering in huge numbers and you will see similar thing all over India, the same applies to government of India which is controlled by Brahminical parties who think that a Gadhian style democracy is what Adivasis/Dalits needs, they forget that Adivasis and Dalits have their own social system and sending paramilitary to forcefully enforce Gandibad will only result in hatred against state, any ways India's fate will also one day become very close to that of former USSR , USSR forcefully enforced it's ideology upon satellite states of Azerbaijan , Kazakhstan etc etc, which were actually a Muslim countries but communists in Moscow forcefully banned Islamic religious activities in this are and stripped this ethnic people of their ethnicity and culture and forced them to follow a Moscow style culture, what was the result , this created resentment which ultimately led to separation of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan from USSR. The arrogance of upper castes into thinking that Dalits sould do what ever they want is absurd , they calling BSP a castetist party is also absurd, the Dalits supporting BSP or any Dalit parties is their own step towards self-determination,the upper castes fail to realize that may be the Dalits/Adivasis don't want Gandhibad or Communism maybe the Dalits want to follow a political philosophy of their own may be they want to see a leader of their own,the Dalits love Ambedkar and want to follow Ambedkarbad .
My last words to upper caste political honchos will be simple "Stay away from internal matters of Dalits, don't try to force your belief on us, let us decide what is good or bad for us, and stop attacking the Dalit movement with words like castetist,fundamentalist etc etc" |
